TEACHING STAFF

Our dynamic teaching team works collaboratively to provide engaging, purposeful and individualised learning experiences that support every student to achieve success.

Across Prep to Year 10, students are supported by one to two class teachers throughout the week, providing consistency and a strong understanding of each student’s individual personal and learning needs. Students are also seen by subject teachers who bring additional expertise and opportunities across the specialist subjects including HPE, the arts and design and technology.

In Senior School, students are supported by homeroom teachers who provide a consistent point of connection, alongside program teachers who deliver a range of practical, community-based and pathway-focused learning experiences. Together, our teaching staff work closely to ensure learning is connected, responsive and focused on preparing students for their next steps.

TEACHER AIDES

Our dedicated teacher aide team plays an essential role in supporting student learning, engagement, communication and independence across the school.

Teacher aides work alongside teachers to implement individualised learning programs, provide targeted support and help students access learning in ways that respond to their individual strengths and needs. Their work extends beyond the classroom, supporting students across specialist subjects, community access, Senior School programs and a range of school activities.

Through strong relationships, consistency and collaboration, our teacher aides help create safe, inclusive and supportive learning environments where every student can participate, build confidence and work towards greater independence.

SUPPORT STAFF

Our support staff bring a diverse range of expertise that strengthens the learning, wellbeing, communication and participation of students across our school.

Our multidisciplinary team includes speech and language therapists, occupational therapists,, chaplaincy, student support services and other specialist staff who work collaboratively with students, families, teachers and teacher aides.

Support is embedded within everyday school life, with staff working across classrooms, programs and individual learning priorities to build student capacity, remove barriers to engagement and support meaningful progress. This collaborative approach ensures students are supported not only academically, but across their communication, wellbeing, independence, and engagement at school.
